I firmly believe that you should have the freedom to be married on your own terms, by any officiant you choose—even if that person isn't traditionally ordained. As an ordained minister myself, I founded Something New Ceremonies in 2021 after leaving my job as a pastor. When I realized there simply wasn't much out there to support first-time officiants (loved ones who get ordained online), it became important to me to create the resources I wished already existed.
I'm deeply passionate about supporting you and your chosen officiant to plan every detail of an unforgettable ceremony—and ensuring that you're officially married by the end of it! I'm the first ceremony planner and scriptwriter to specialize in supporting couples and first-time officiants who got ordained online. I took everything I learned as a professional officiant to develop resources that support couples in planning ceremonies, writing vows, and preparing first-time officiants—no experience required!
